Official Program Description

This two-day course will focus on user interface (UI) design considerations for creating Android apps. Beginning with an overview of the Android UI, you will explore available building blocks, layouts, views, graphics, and resources that can be used to create and finalize an app. After this introduction to Android UI design, it is recommended that you take the online course, User Interface Design for Android Apps, for an in-depth exploration of Android UI design concepts and to develop your own e-portfolio of Android UI designs.

Anyone interested in the design of user interfaces associated with mobile apps

Expected Outcomes

Upon completion of this course you will understand the Android UI. You will use your graphic and design skills along with other learned resources to develop your foundation for your apps.
