Design Principles for Non-Designers

A Hands-on Workshop for Designing Web Sites, Documents, and Presentations

Putting your best foot forward in today's competitive business environment is vital in creating marketing materials, such as business cards and presentations. In this one-day hands-on workshop you'll learn the basic principles of graphic design and how to apply them to create effective and compelling communication. Understanding these principles will arm you with the know-how to make your work look more professional, organized, interesting and have more impact.

In each of the four principles listed below we'll start with understanding the principle, looking at numerous samples, applying the principle during class and getting immediate feedback from the both the instructor and your classmates.
